“The BWC has been an important part of my family’s journey. When my daughters were in high school, the club welcomed us to host events there and made us feel truly supported. After they left for college,
I was inspired to give back.
Getting involved introduced me to a wonderful group of women and meaningful opportunities to contribute. Along the way, I was honored to be named Volunteer of the Year, attend LEADS, and now serve as Club President.”

"I joined the club in 2023 when I was new to Bradenton, wanting to make friends, and serve my community. Through this experience, I have done just that!! The club has given me a sense of belonging, opportunities to grow, and the chance to build wonderful friendships.
Now serving as Second Vice President & Membership Chairman, my goal is to help other women become engaged, discover where they fit best, create an environment where every member feels welcomed, connected, and empowered to make a difference."

"My journey with the Bradenton Woman's Club began in the late 90s when I first moved to Manatee County; though work delayed my enrollment, the unforgettable warmth of past president Rose Vickers anchored my commitment to join the moment I retired. Walking into our historic clubhouse that first time, I knew I was stepping into a powerful legacy of women who have shaped this community since 1913.
Driven to preserve this heritage, I focused on deep organizational stewardship, serving as Parliamentarian and Environment CSP Chair within months of joining. Now serving as Secretary, my mission is to protect our rich history and time-honored traditions, ensuring our club remains a cornerstone of civic leadership and community impact for generations to come."
